THE LEGEND OF SOHNI

अर्पणा कौर देश और दुनिया की उन कलाकारों में से एक हैं, जिनका मन हमेशा लोक और सूफी संसार में रचता बसता है। सोहनी महिवाल की सदियों पुरानी कहानी हमने भी सुनी हैं,आपने भी सुनी होंगी, शायद आपने फिल्मों में भी अमर प्रेम के इन दो पात्रों को देखा होगा....लेकिन सोहनी को अर्पणा जी ने अपने कैनवास पर जो कलात्मक ऊंचाई दी है...वो न तो फिल्मों में दिखी और न ही कथाओं में पढी गई...।

THE LEGEND OF SOHNI का रचना काल है साल 2000 से लेकर साल 2001 के बीच। इन चित्रों की प्रदर्शनी 2001 में दिल्ली के Academy of Fine Arts & Literature में और 2002 में मुंबई के Cymroza Gallery में आयोजित हुई थी।
